Shipping: FAQ

SHIPPING POLICY

  • Shipping is $40.00 flat rate

  • All orders over $250 shipping is free

  • Orders can take up to 3 days to process after payments have been cleared. 

  • Orders received, will be shipped on Tuesday for Wednesday delivery.

  • Customers are responsible for providing email address and a safe, accurate shipping address to deliver. Please double check your address in your order confirmation.

  • DOA WILL NOT be covered if package is not received on the first delivery attempt.

  • We will not give refunds for orders where UPS has determined there’s no safe location to leave package.

  • Coral Candy Aquaculture LLC is not responsible for unfortunate events such as misplaced, lost or stolen packages, during the time of transit. Under all circumstances UPS is responsible. We will do our best to assist all customers regarding missing packages.

  • Coral Candy Aquaculture, LLC has no control over delays of package during the shipping process.  You would need to contact UPS customer service to help answer and track your order.  We will do our best to assist all customers with obtaining transit information of your order.

  • All claims will be thoroughly reviewed case by case; claims may take up to 2 weeks to process. Once UPS responds to your claim, we will be able to take further proper actions to help resolve this mishap. Until then, your patience is much appreciated as we work with the shipping carrier(s).

  • Filing a claim does not guarantee UPS to partially or fully compensate/reimburse you for your lost/stolen package, but we will do our best to assist you through the process.

  • You AGREE not to charge back a completed order without first trying to work it with us to resolve whatever problem you are facing.

DOA POLICY

Our Coral Frags are healthy and happy when shipped out.  We have a 99% success rate when shipping corals with our packing techniques!  If for some reason your order (or individual coral) does not survive the trip you will receive a store credit towards another order.  This credit will be valid for 6 months. You must notify us via email of DOA corals within 4 hours of delivery!  Do not throw away any corals.  Pictures will be required with corals still in their original bags.    There is no refund on shipping charges under any circumstances.  All purchases assume the customer has intermediate to advanced reefing experience.  We are not responsible for errors in acclimation, general care (over or under lighting, water flow, water chemistry, temperature, or inter species coral aggression).  Please ask if you are unsure, we are here to help!  In some rare cases your credit may depend on pictures of the expired coral.  Charge backs for the entire shipment including shipping with out contacting us via email are illegal and will be prosecuted for fraud.  We can only ship to the billing address and to the cardholder. We may ask to allow 2-3 weeks for stressed or damaged corals to be evaluated for DOA.  Many corals bounce back and begin to quickly recover from shipping stress
